COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - On Tuesday, all Pueblo School District 60 students headed back into the classrooms. The district says for the 2025-2026 year, a big focus is set on improving attendance and engaging learning. With that, D60 is also welcoming a new, interactive, learning-based program in three of its schools.
It’s called STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The new programming was funded through a federal Magnet Schools Grant, further opening an opportunity where students will get to explore different, hands-on STREAM pathways at Parkview Elementary, Risley School of Exploration and Centennial High School. Each school has a new innovation lab that was installed over the summer.
