An ex-Midlands MP has said only the national flag should be flown in the UK.
Jonathan Gullis said he is 'sick to the back of his teeth' of seeing the Palestinian flag flying across the country.
The former MP for Stoke-on-Trent North brazenly went on to say 'this is not Palestine' and only the St George's Cross should be seen flying in Britain.
His comments came after Birmingham City Council came under fire for removing flags in some areas.
Mr Gullis - who is currently Mayor of Kidsgrove and was previously Conservative Party deputy chair - appeared on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, August 19, StokeonTrentLive reports.
