LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - A precautionary boil water notice was lifted Tuesday for all Tallahassee residents who live south of Cemetery Road, according to the Leon County Government.

Residents may now resume normal water use, the county announced Tuesday morning.

As a result, water distribution operations will also cease, county officials said.

The news comes after officials announced the boil water notice on Sunday following a water service interruption. The interruption occurred due to damage to the water system in the Cemetery Road area the day before.
