TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — Tarrant County commissioners voted Tuesday to remove nearly half of all early voting locations ahead of the 2025 special election.
County Judge Tim O’Hare and commissioners Matt Krause and Manny Ramirez, all Republicans, supported the cuts. Democratic commissioners Alisa Simmons and Rodrick Miles Jr voted against the cuts.
Krause proposed adding to the list of early voting locations: Como Community Center, Legacy Learning Center, Tarrant County College Northwest Campus, the Charles Griffin building and the Northeast Sub Courthouse.
Simmons proposed adding Bob Duncan Center, Tarrant County College Southeast campus, Vernon Newsome Stadium and Dover Hall to the list.
Both of their proposed additions were approved and added to the list.
