ATHENS, Ga. (WSAV) — Coming off of an SEC Championship victory in 2024 and a College Football Playoff appearance, the Georgia Bulldogs are equipped with two freshmen from Savannah who are ready to make an impact in 2025.

Elijah Griffin, from Savannah Christian Preparatory School, and Calvary Day's Thomas Blackshear were a part of Georgia's 2025 recruiting class that ranked No. 2 in the nation, according to 247Sports.

Graham Coffey, publisher and co-founder of Dawgs Central, said, "Kirby Smart's 2025 recruiting class may be the most competitive we've ever seen at Georgia when it comes to providing early competition in quality depth."
