SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Marlin Cromley is accompanying Team Canada to practice on Tuesday afternoon. This is his second year hosting the international team, but his 26th year of being a host.
Cromley loves his job each summer, but this year he decided will be his last. He says he started in 1999 when he was approached by former Little League President Stephen Keener.
"I had just got back from a trip, I worked at a local college here and was on a trip and came back. I got a phone call, I was leaving the office for a week. I went home, talked to my wife, and she said, "You know, Marlin, if you don't do it, you're going to regret it the rest of your life," said Cromley, Canada Team Host.
