The Arizona Diamondbacks are planning to listen to trade offers for All-Star Ketel Marte after a report from Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic claimed that teammates were frustrated with Marte's absence from the team.

In a report from Bob Nightengale of USA Today , Marte apologized for his absence after the All-Star break when he went to the Dominican Republic and vacationed with his family.

Marte missed the first two games after the All-Star break and has requested games off in an attempt to prevent injuries. Marte has missed 168 games since 2021, and the off days are set up to prevent future injuries to the Diamondbacks' star.
