Detroit Red Wings forwards Dylan Larkin and Patrick Kane are among 44 players invited to the U.S. Olympic Orientation Camp, USA Hockey announced on Tuesday.

The camp takes place Aug. 26-27 in Plymouth and is largely an administrative and team-building event with no formal on-ice activity or public component.

Larkin has represented the United States in numerous events, including this year’s 4 Nations Face-Off and is hoping to be selected to the Olympics for the first time.

Kane played in the 2010 and 2014 Olympics.

The final 25-man roster is expected to be announced in early January.

The 2026 Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, run from Feb. 11-21. This marks the first time since 2014 that NHL players will participate.
