INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man is facing charges after multiple women said they were forced to have sex with men and were made to use cocaine when it became too painful. One of the victims was pregnant.
Additionally, an Indianapolis woman who worked for her is also being charged with promoting prostitution.
On Aug. 14, police were called to the Comfort Inn in the 9000 block of Wesleyan Road, near Michigan Road and West 86th Street on the northwest side of Indianapolis, just before 6 a.m. They found an 18-year-old woman hiding behind a car. She told police she was staying with a man who was "selling our bodies" and that she wanted to go to the hospital.
IMPD officers then knocked loudly on the rooms where the alleged human trafficking was happening and found 31-year-old Lovie Grace.
