INDIANAPOLIS — Imagine trying to stop fraud and failing not just once or twice but multiple times.  That was Dave Galloway’s reality for several weeks this year after he says someone stole his identity, then tried – and succeeded – in stealing his Social Security benefits.   

Galloway says he reached out to the Social Security Administration and even visited the Howard County branch office as soon as he was aware of the problem.  

“I've done everything (the Social Security Administration) asked me, and every time I walk through those doors, the problem gets worse,” Galloway told 13 Investigates.
