INDIANAPOLIS — IndyGo riders will need to shell out more money to ride the bus starting in 2026.

On Thursday, IndyGo's board of directors unanimously approved a resolution that would increase fares across the board, though it included an amendment to delay price changes to paratransit services (IndyGo Access) until July 1, 2026.

The fare increase is the first time the transit agency has bumped up prices in 16 years. There are also plans to eliminate 10-trip, 31-day, S-Passes and Summer Youth Passes
