KINGSTON, N.Y. — The Ulster County Ancient Order of Hibernians’ free Hooley on the Hudson will celebrate its 25th anniversary when the festival returns to the city’s Rondout Waterfront on Sunday, Aug. 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The event celebrating Iristh culture features three stages of nonstop music and dance, over 20 craft and food vendors and family-friendly activities.
New features this year include a Ceili dancing lesson and demonstration in the Clearwater Barn at 1:45 p.m. Also new this year is the Young Pipers Showcase featuring members of the Ulster County AOH Pipes and Drums band joined by Jimmy Walsh for a special Craic performance in the Clearwater Barn at 6 p.m.
