GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Kentucky’s sixth district representative and candidate for Senate, Andy Barr, was in Georgetown on Tuesday and touted the One Big Beautiful Bill Act , which he helped pass before Congress recessed. Barr spoke to the right-leaning Americans For Prosperity of Kentucky about President Donald Trump’s agenda.
Rep. Barr, R-Lexington, said the bill saved over 84,000 jobs by providing a permanent 23% tax cut to small businesses.
“All of this lowers the cost of doing business and when you lower the cost of doing business, then guess what? Those businesses pass along the savings in either higher wages for workers or lower prices for consumers,” Barr said.
