BC football coach Bill O’Brien hopes to keep ‘regional rivalries’ alive

CHESTNUT HILL – Boston College coach Bill O’Brien is an avowed college football traditionalist from an Ivy League background in an ever-changing sport.

The recent conference realignments have made the country a smaller place, consolidated all the significant programs into the Power-Four package, and have made for some strange competitive bedfellows.
