CLEVELAND, Ohio - Officials on Tuesday resumed the search for three people who went missing in Lake Erie over the weekend.

Authorities have reclassified the search from a rescue to a body recovery, according to spokespeople from Cleveland Metroparks and Cleveland Division of Fire.

The three people went missing during two separate incidents on Sunday evening.

At 5:36 p.m., Metroparks officers were called to Huntington Beach in Bay Village after two swimmers were pulled into the lake. They have been identified as Trent Sanchez, 19, and Austin Labbe, 22, who are half-brothers, said Cleveland Metroparks spokeswoman Jacqueline Gerling.
