LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A University of Louisville men’s basketball legend is taking on a new role within the program.

Head Coach Pat Kelsey announced Tuesday that Peyton Siva has been promoted to assistant coach. Siva served as Director of Player Development and Basketball Alumni Relations.

According to the university , Siva will now take on “an expanded role with recruiting and player development as an on-court assistant coach for the Cardinals.” He’ll continue with his responsibilities with basketball alumni relations and community engagement as well.

During Siva’s first season on staff in 2024-25, Louisville achieved a 27-8 record and finished second in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with an 18-2 league record. The Cardinals also made their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 201
