COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A recent report from U.S. News & World Report ranks Columbus High School as the second best in the State of Georgia and 78th best in the nation.

The 2025-2026 Best High School rankings advances the high school from last year's national placement of #101.

“I am so incredibly proud of the recent ranking of #2 in the state of Georgia and #78 nationally," said Principal Sonya Allen. "Our students, faculty, and staff work very hard to maintain the level of excellence that Columbus High exemplifies. Our students do a wonderful job balancing a rigorous academic curriculum and extra-curricular commitments all while embodying the Blue Devil spirit.”
