It is known that Mickey Gilligan is one of the best players in New Jersey, but the Passaic Tech catcher continues to break through on a national level.

Gilligan, an upcoming senior, was named to the Under Armour Next All-America Game on September 13 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore.

The game, which will feature 40 of the top high school players in the country, already has two-dozen stars committed to playing, including Gilligan.

Gilligan was named to the NJ.com All-State First Team as a junior this past season after leading PCTI to the program’s first-ever North Jersey 1, Group 4 sectional championship, as well as a title in the Passaic County Tournament.
