DOUGLAS COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) - Authorities with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office utilized a drone to help locate a suspect Monday night.

The pursuit, which ended in a field near Vinland, Kansas, was for a suspect who fled from a crash into a ditch, police said. Video from the drone shared Tuesday shows an infrared camera view of officers walking through a field and arriving at the suspect’s location.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the vehicle driven by the man was involved in an earlier pursuit involving another law enforcement agency.
