JACKSONVILLE – The defensive front is getting healthier.
That made Tuesday a good day – and an important day – at defensive tackle for the Jaguars, with Arik Armstead and Maason Smith practicing together for the first time during 2025 Training Camp .
"To see them out there is a good sign," Head Coach Liam Coen said.
Armstead, an 11-year veteran expected to start at tackle this season after playing mostly end during his first Jaguars season last season, missed much of the first part of camp with a back issue. Smith, a second-round selection by the Jaguars in the 2024 NFL Draft, was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list last Thursday .
