Natalie McDaniel, the wife of Cleveland Heights Mayor Kahlil Seren, pleaded not guilty to two charges – trespassing into a habitation when a person is present and criminal trespassing – at her court appearance on Aug. 19, according to court records.
McDaniel, 46, was caught on a Ring doorbell camera taking a photo of a sign calling to recall her husband at the polls, approaching the home that displayed the sign and entering the home through the doorway for 17 seconds before leaving on July 30.
The first pretrial will take place at 9 a.m. Sept. 3 under the docket of Judge Nancy Fuerst in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. In the meantime, McDaniel’s bond has been set to $2,500 and she was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
