MOUNT CARMEL, Pa. — The Red Tornadoes are looking to regain their winds and storm back atop the Heartland Conference after getting knocked out of the District 4 playoffs by Lewisburg last season.

The team has less senior leadership than last season, but quarterback Gavin Marshalek is a captain they know they’ll find success with.

“Something Coach Darrah really helped me out with was just going through progressions through every play and, you know, helped me make way smarter decisions on the field,” said Marshalek. “I broke our school's record for interceptions last year, not throwing in a certain amount of passes, and you know that's something that you know really means a lot to me,” said Marshalek.
