EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) - As close to a dozen soldiers with the Indiana National Guard 38th Infantry Division out of Indianapolis landed in Evansville, loved ones inside Evansville Regional Airport wait patiently for their first hugs in nearly a year. Soldiers had been stationed in the Middle East for 11 months. Kendra Jones drove from Sullivan to greet her husband.
"It's been a little crazy," says Jones. "We just bought a house and everything right before he left, for like 2 weeks he was home. So, adjusting to that, and just got married a couple months before."
