ST. ANSGAR, Iowa.-Sen. Chuck Grassley (R) is using the break from the Senate this week to continue his 99 county tour of Iowa to talk with constituents and get their perspective on national politics.
On Tuesday, Aug. 19, his first stop was at Grain Millers Inc. in St. Ansgar where he talked with company leaders, employees and regular community members who were invited to participate.
According to Todd Stohlmeyer, CEO of Grain Millers Inc, some of the company's biggest concerns going into the meeting were the ways in which some of the administration's policies were affecting its bottom line.
A 25 percent increase on tariffs for imports from Canada are affecting his business's ability to import oats from the northern border.
