Shenendehowa's Winter commits to Saint Michael's

When she started the college recruiting process, Shenendehowa’s Gianna Winter didn’t want to be too close to home.

So when the women’s basketball coaching staff from Saint Michael’s College, in Colchester, Vermont, invited her to campus, Winter told her mother, “Ooh, it’s kind of close, and she’s, like, ‘It’s not that close.’”
