The choral director at Brockton High School was charged in connection with human trafficking and an underage victim who was paid for sex, Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz’s office said Tuesday.

Matthew Cunningham, 35, of Brockton, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee and trafficking a person for sexual servitude, Cruz’s office said in a statement. He was held on $25,000 with the conditions that he stay away and have no contact with the victim or Brockton High School, that he stay off social media, surrender his passport and stay in Massachusetts.
