FOLSOM, La. (WGNO) — Tuesday night, the Folsom announced that all water in the area was out due to a break in a water main. The outage was expected to last for about two hours.

As soon as the water is restored, Folsom will be under a boil water advisory until further notice. Village of Folsom Utility Director Ashley Garrett made the announcement.

Following the repairs, the village will have to have multiple water samples test safe for use, which usually takes around 24 hours once they're collected.
