Allan Hancock College’s Ann Foxworthy Gallery is shining a spotlight on two of Santa Maria’s own artistic talents in its current exhibition, Made in Santa Maria. The show features the works of artists Ruben Espinoza and Aaron Cribbs and will run through Oct. 2.
Made in Santa Maria highlights the creativity, development and professional accomplishments of two artists who began their journeys in Hancock’s fine arts and design programs.
“Both Espinoza and Cribbs have gone on to achieve successful careers in the arts,” said Gallery Co-Coordinator Elizabeth Russell. “Their careers range from animation and illustration to large-scale murals and hand-painted signage, while they continue to remain connected to their hometown community.”
