Virginia health officials have issued a warning about a new measles case at Dulles International Airport.
The infected person, who is from another state, was at the airport on Aug. 12, the Virginia Department of Health said. Health officials are working to identify people who have been exposed in the airport and on specific flights.

Health officials said people in these locations between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 12 may have been exposed:
Measles is considered highly contagious and can be spread through the air when an infected person breathes, sneezes or coughs, VDH said in a release. It is also preventable with the Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccine.
There have been at least 1,356 cases nationwide so far in 2025, ac
