ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Jordan Rothenbach, 34, for allegedly sexually abusing a child.

Officers received reports of sexual misconduct toward a minor from DCFS on June 24.

During an interview with the 9-year-old victim, she reported the suspect had touched her inappropriately in 2018.

Rothenbach was later taken into custody and booked into the Winnebago County Jail, but was granted pretrial release on August 19.

He is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child.

The suspect's mugshot was not readily available.
