Gable Steveson sets date for his MMA debut

For Gable Steveson, the next mountain to try and climb and conquer will see him enter the cage. The former NCAA Division I wrestling national champion has signed on the dotted line to make his mixed martial arts debut.

Steveson will square off with Braden Peterson on September 12 at Legacy Fighting Alliance 217. The bout, confirmed by ESPN , will see him compete in Minnesota from Mystic Lake Casino, with the card streaming live on UFC Fight Pass.
