KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A former Missouri Tiger will be broadcasting college football this season.

According to a report from Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, former Missouri Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Chase Daniel is joining ESPN as a college football analyst.

Daniel will broadcast college football games for the network on a crew that reportedly will include play-by-play announcer Clay Matvick.

His first game will be Duquesne at Pittsburgh on Aug. 30, Glasspiegel reported.

Daniel spent most of last year with Fox Sports 1 before the show he co-hosted, The Facility , was canceled. Daniel will also work for ESPN as a studio analyst for the NFL.

He also co-hosts a podcast for The Athletic.
