FAYETTEVILLE -- The City Council will continue talks about a possible rezoning off of West Dot Tipton Road following extensive discussion Tuesday.
Prism Design Studio requested a rezoning for property located southeast of North Double Springs Road and West Dot Tipton Road from Residential-Agricultural and Residential Single-Family, one unit per acre to a Planned Zoning District.
There would be four planning districts containing a mix of townhomes and single-family houses.
City staff recommended denial of the request, feeling it was incompatible with the surrounding area and had inadequate existing infrastructure, according to the staff report.
Zoning requests were submitted for the property in 2020, 2021 and April 2025. All were denied.
