LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Montgomery County mother is raising concerns over the school district’s leadership.

Sammi Jo Brock says her special needs son was dropped off six miles from their home. This is after she says her son told the bus driver it wasn’t his stop.

Sammi Jo Brock is recalling the ordeal that she says has brought a lot of grief to her family.

“Nobody wants to be held accountable. Nobody really wants to take responsibility for it - And they will be held accountable and they will be held responsible for this,” said Brock.

On Monday, Brock says she received a phone call from Montgomery County Schools. Brock says the caller told her her son would be home shortly after his bus driver passed his stop. Instead, she says the bus driver dropped off her son six miles away from th
