TYLER, Texas (KETK)-- The Oil Palace, a popular venue in Tyler, announced they will be closing its doors, causing several East Texas events to find a home.

The Oil Palace has been a staple in Tyler since it first opened its doors in 1955. Throughout the years, the palace has hosted a multitude of events, including concerts and even wrestling shows.

Due to the closure of the palace, several upcoming events have been forced to either cancel or find a new venue, including the annual Children's Clothing Consignment Sale (CCC). The CCC announced on Monday that they are still seeking a new location for the sale and that seller registration has been postponed.
