ROCHESTER, Minn. — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota is expanding its reach with a new office in Rochester. The organization hosted an open house to introduce the community to its new space and share its mission of mentoring youth.

Michelle Redmond, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, explained that the organization has been operating in the Rochester area since January 2024. "We have 63 one-to-one mentoring matches here, but over 60 youth are still waiting," Redmond said. The new office provides a dedicated space for staff to work and for hosting events like game nights, which offer a safe environment for mentors and mentees to connect.
