MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Wisconsin's entire congressional delegation has agreed on something.
They requested help from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, following devastating floods that hit the Milwaukee area.
Journeys Lutheran in Hales Corners is a school for special needs children. The start of the school year there has been delayed at least two weeks until flooding damage is fixed.
"We work with students who have autism, ADHD, anxiety, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities. The list goes on and on," Jenny Stollenwerk, the head of Journeys Lutheran, told WISN 12 News. "It is just the place that they know they can walk through these doors, and they are celebrated."
