WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE)— Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach wants to make naloxone, an overdose-reversal drug, as easy to access as a newspaper. The state plans to repurpose old news racks into naloxone distribution boxes, making Kansas only the second state in the nation to try the approach, following South Dakota.
Kobach keeps a box of naloxone in his pickup truck and said he hopes distributing it more widely could save lives.
