Nicole Kidman is going back to her roots.

In fact, the Oscar winner opted to rock her natural curly hair during a recent family vacation.

As seen in pictures posted on Instagram Aug. 19 , Kidman — clad in a blue floral summer dress — let her strawberry blonde coils loose while embracing her daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, on a balcony overlooking the ocean.

She also kept her tresses down in a group photo with younger sister Antonio Kidman and niece Lucia Hawley.

"Summer memories," Kidman wrote in the caption. "Now back to school."

Indeed, the 58-year-old and her husband Keith Urban make education a priority for their girls. As Sunday Rose put it, school is one of the "two big rules" of the household.
