Austin Lorin shuttered its doors in August, according to a sign on the boutique’s door.

The women’s clothing and accessories store had been a mainstay in Colleyville for 20 years, according to a sign posted on the boutique’s door Aug. 17 from owner Jen Austin.

The post cited rising rent costs, structural issues within the rent space and personal health challenges as to why the store is closing, which was located in Colleyville Town Center next to the former Look Cinema movie theater.

“We made the heartfelt decision to not to renew our lease and to officially retire Austin Lorin,” the sign read. “We are deeply grateful for your friendship, loyalty and business over the years.”

As of Aug. 19, the store was completely cleared out and empty.
