TERRA BELLA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A 17-year-old was arrested in connection with multiple stabbing incidents in Terra Bella on Tuesday, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies arrested the 17-year-old in Porterville. Officers said he was accused of attempted homicide.

Detectives were called to the 24700 block of Avenue 88 in Terra Bella at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday for a stabbing.

Upon arrival, deputies report multiple people had been stabbed, and the suspects had left the scene by the time of their arrival - witnesses told deputies that the suspects were known to be active members of a gang.
