Shifting Gears will see some familiar faces alongside star Tim Allen !

The 72-year-old actor, who also serves as an executive producer, will host a Home Improvement reunion on the ABC comedy’s upcoming second season, according to Deadline .

Patricia Richardson , Richard Karn , and Debbe Dunning are all set to guest star in the upcoming season premiere!

The Home Improvement trio will be showing support to Tim ‘s character, Matt Parker, “in an expected way,” while details on their roles are being kept under wraps at this time.

Shifting Gears centers on “Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When his estranged daughter, Riley ( Kat Dennings ), and her kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.”
