HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) - Hillsboro Police are looking for additional victims after arresting someone they say is connected to a fake gold scam.

Officers received a call on August 12 about someone in a white SUV with Florida plates trying to sell fake gold in the parking lot of a Lowe’s

When officers arrived, they found 25-year-old Diamant Calin and a woman who police say admitted to selling the fake gold.

Police say they found a significant amount of jewelry and cash inside the car.

They also say Calin has a warrant out for his arrest in New Jersey.
