SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) - A driver crashed into a building late Tuesday night, causing significant damage, according to the Salem Fire Department.
At about 11:45 p.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a crash on Capitol Street Northeast. Crews arrived to the scene and found a car into Salem Eye Professionals at 1469 Capitol St. NE.
Officials say no one in the car or inside the building was hurt.
Due to the amount of damage to the building, the Technical Rescue Team worked to stabilize the structure. Officials say the estimated property loss is about $20,000.
The cause of the crash has not yet been released.
