The Trump administration is adding another illegal immigrant detention center in the country, this time at another location in the Midwest in America’s Heartland.
The newest one will be located in Nebraska, according to a release from the Department of Homeland Security. It will be the fourth detention center the Trump administration has said it will open since July 3, when a location in the Florida Everglades, dubbed the “Alligator Alcatraz,” started receiving detainees. The revelation of the Nebraska location, nicknamed the “Cornhusker Clink,” comes after the openings of the “Lone Star Lockup” at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas , and the “Speedway Slammer” in Bunker Hill, Indiana.
