A 38-year-old man was charged with domestic battery, and he and a 35-year-old woman were charged with felony possession of meth and three counts of drug endangered child after an anonymous report of a woman screaming for help Monday night, said Police Deputy Chief Brent Wasson.

Police spoke with the 38-year-old man, Branson Potter, at the home, who denied the assault, and spoke with the 35-year-old woman, Kathleen Gley, over the phone, who also denied she had been assaulted. Later that night police received a 911 call from Gley’s phone at that address, and police spoke with Potter again, who said Gley wasn’t home.
