RALEIGH — “Old uno” doesn’t mind passing on the tradition to “new uno.”
In the last 11 years, N.C. State football has awarded the No. 1 jersey to a Wolfpack player who “exhibits elite work ethic and practice and training habits, while also serving as an exemplary leader.”
After rocking it for three seasons from 2020-22, former linebacker Isaiah Moore – a current assistant coach for the Wolfpack – has worn the coveted jersey more than any other N.C. State player since the tradition started in 2014.
