BOARDMAN Officers from four police departments converged on a Boardman gas station late Monday after dispatchers got a call from someone reporting a group of teens had gathered, and one of them had a gun.
Officers were sent to the Sheetz on Boardman-Poland Road around 10:50 p.m. after a 911 caller, a 19-year-old male, reported that a group in a gray Jeep was pointing guns out the windows. Officers found the Jeep Cherokee parked at the gas pumps.
Assistance was requested from the Poland, Struthers, and Springfield police departments. The occupants of the vehicle, which included an 18-year-old driver and five male juveniles ages 13, 15, 15, 16, and 17, were removed one by one, handcuffed, and placed in police cruisers.
Police searched the Jeep but found no weapons.
