NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Most-humid conditions are still present in Southern to Eastern New Mexico as rain has mostly ceased except for a very few lingering showers with rumbles of thunder in the high elevations to far-western areas. East-gap winds are less gusty while mostly calming slightly after yesterday’s more-isolated storms. Way-above-freezing temperatures are still once again confined to most of the higher peaks of the Northern Mountains with valley floor locations mostly starting off in the 40s or in the 50s. Elsewhere is mostly starting off in the high 50s to the lower 70s.
