This is T’Arnie Simpson, who left a Nottingham slashing victim with a 'Joker-style' permanent scar to the face following a gang attack in St Ann’s. Recorder Stuart Sprawson on Wednesday August 20, jailed the 23-year-old for two years and three months after he pleaded guilty to assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article at Nottingham Crown Court.

In a victim impact statement the man told how he “knows people will always judge me” for the wound to his face and feels he has been overlooked for jobs because of it.

He also said he fears that because it is so obvious those who caused it - then teenagers Simpson and former Derby County youth and now semi-professional footballer Tyree Wilson - could come after him again.
